Why

Land Transport Rule requirement for the transport of dangerous goods on land.

Course Length

 

One Day (Approximately 5- 6 hours) - Full Dangerous Goods Certification

Half Day (Approximately 2-3 hours) - Refresher Dangerous Goods Certification

 

Pre-requisites

 

Restricted or Full Class 1 NZ Drivers Licence

Must have good understanding of English language.

 

What is involved

 

On the day students are issued with a:

  • DG Quick Guide booklet,
  • Segregation Wheel and
  • Emergency Response Information Sheet.

The course itself is open book and includes both training and assessment throughout whilst using a full powerpoint presentation.  The Assessment is based on the unit standard 16718 v4.less
