Private Forklift Course

If you have four or more operators ready for a forklift course in the upper North Island we will bring our trainer to you. 

You save travel time and your team stay in the environment they are familiar with, on your own equipment.  Options include:

  • Forklift Operators Certificate - for operators with at least 10 hrs forklift experience.
     
  • Forklift Operators Certificate Renewal - for operators with currently or recently expired Forklift Operators Certificate.
     
  • Forklift Operators Certificate & F Endorsement - for operators with at least 10 hrs forklift experience and a full NZ driver licence, who want to drive a forklift on the road.
     
  • Forklift Operators Certificate Renewal & F Endorsement - for operators with currently or recently expired Forklift Operators Certificate and a full NZ driver licence, who want to drive a forklift on the road.

 

Why

NZ Health & Safety require operators using a forklift within the workplace to have a current Forklift Operator Certificate.  These certificates expire and need to be renewed every 3 years.

 

Full Forklift Operator Certification Course 

 

This lasts a full day.  It includes a theory session with a test paper plus a practical test. Pre-requisites for this course are:

  • Must be over 15 years old
  • Must have 10 hrs minimum basic forklift operating experience.*

* Operating experience includes basic forklift operation with stacking, destacking and steering ability in a confined space or around obstacles.

 

Forklift Operator Refresher

This is for people who have a current or recently expired Forklift Operators Cerfication. The course includes a theory session including a test, plus a practical test. Pre-requisites for this course are:

  • Must hold a current Forklift Operator certificate, or
  • Have a Forklift Operator certificate that expired within the last 12 months.

Reach Truck or Other Certifications

You can add a Reach Truck practical to either the Full Forklift certification or the Refresher course.  If you require certification on additonal machines please call us.

 

Onsite Course Requirements

  • Suitable quiet room for theory session which includes tables and chairs (we will bring the projector and materials for the course).
  • Practical area around 15 x 15 square meters with also a suitable load and stacking ability at various heights where practical 
  • A Suitable forklift for the practical assessment.
