Why
NZ Health & Safety require operators using a forklift within the workplace to have a current Forklift Operator Certificate. These certificates expire and need to be renewed every 3 years.
Full Forklift Operator Certification Course (Full day)
This lasts a full day. It includes a theory session with a test paper plus a practical test. Pre-requisites for this course are:

Must be over 15 years old

Must have 10 hrs minimum basic forklift operating experience.*
* Operating experience includes basic forklift operation with stacking, destacking and steering ability in a confined space or around obstacles.
Forklift Operator Refresher (Half day)
This is for people who have a current or recently expired Forklift Operators Cerfication. The course includes a theory session including a test, plus a practical test. Pre-requisites for this course are:

Must hold a current Forklift Operator certificate, or

Have a Forklift Operator certificate that expired within the last 12 months.
Reach Truck or Other Certifications
You can choose add a Reach Truck certification or refresher course as an alternative to the Forklift certication. Or you can choose to do a Reach Truc certification or refresher only at this course. If you require certification on additonal machines, such as an Order Picker, please call us.less
